Owning an online business can be difficult, but if a person is dedicated it can be very beneficial. Even though these businesses are not an easy task, they will still provide moms enough time with their children as you work from home. There are many businesses to choose from. Some of the businesses require a fee to provide you with a product to sell. Others, such as Cognigen, will provide products and a website for free.
Completing surveys gives mothers total freedom. Because surveys are taken only when one agrees to take them, they are perfect for moms who children need constant care. The amount of money earned from surveys depends on how many surveys a person is willing to answer. A mom can earn from $25 to $600 a month from answering surveys. Earning some money online is something many work at home hope for and it definitely helps out in the home financial situation.
Freelancing is a broad way to make money online. Freelancers are hired on to a company as a contractor. In many cases freelancing allows one to earn money for what he/she loves. There are many freelance designer moms out there and they are apt to design from online cash advance to online shopping sites. If you have that sort of skill, it is certainly valuable. Another example is a mother who loves to write. There are many online opportunities for writing. The mother may start a blog or write articles on parenting. She may even put her creative writing skills to the test by writing short stories. There are other freelancing prospects such as cartooning, web design, consulting, data entry, and desktop publishing. The list of freelance jobs is abundant.

It’s been another busy week as I settle my child back in school and getting myself organized at home. Things are moving along well for us and I’m thankful. I’m already working from home and I do like my new home office.
Last couple of weeks, I have been meeting new moms in the school and many of them are full time moms and some are working from home too. A few are looking at online university where they can study at their own pace while their kids are in school. Being a mom can be a big task with lots to juggle and sometimes we wonder when can we sit down for a cup of cuppa! Tomorrow, I’m taking a couple of hours off with a girl friend who suggested that I go to bible study with her. I thought a long time about it and decided that I want to know God’s word better in 2011. I have been too relaxed in my walk with Him and sometimes I become lazy too. So attending a bible keeps me on track and gives me the opportunity to commit to a devotional time everyday.
With lots of activities leading up to the month of March, I’m ever so busy getting more done in the home office while enjoying my new life here down under. That’s my life now as a work at home mom!

Settling down in a new place has been keeping us very busy the last two months and I’m glad that our home office is looking neat and tidy now. We made a trip to Ikea last week and bought all we needed for the home office. Now, we don’t have boxes lying around anymore. It’s good that it’s looking organized and we are ready to start the new business going.
We have been packed with family activities since we arrived and it’s nice to be in the great outdoors as a family. Tomorrow we are heading to Moreton Bay with my cousin and her family and I know the kids are going to have a ball of a time. I hope they can see dugongs and turtles swimming freely and that the water is cleared from debris and pollutants. We also have a camping trip coming up in March and this is going to be our first ever camping trip! I was abit reluctant to leave my king size platform bed for a night or two but I thought it would be great fun for the kids to be sleeping in a real tent. This is going to be an unique experience and it’s going a good time for us to network with other moms and dads who may be working from home too.
So the home office is set and hubby is already getting into the work mode. As for me, I’ve been busy with networking and school activities apart from getting some work done at work when my son is in school. It’s weekends again and I’m excited!
