Some Soul Searching from the Home Office Comments Off
Whenever it comes to Friday, there’s always a sign of relief in my heart because the weekends is coming. Since moving here to Australia, I look forward to Saturdays and that’s our family day where both hubby and me take a break from the home office. This is the time we spend our quality time with our boy and we try to do something different every now and then.
The weather was terribly humid and warm early this week that it was getting too uncomfortable to work in our new home office. Since we haven’t had air con in our office, it’s hard to sit down for long periods and therefore it affected my productivity levels. Thankfully the weather is cooling down with the change of season and it should be better soon. DH has been busy researching into some niches for our new project and he was telling me about the rise of manufacturing jobs around the world. Sometimes the world’s events can bring fears and uncertainties into our hearts and we wonder when will people learn to live in peace. Perhaps one of the ways is to learn contentment and love and not try to think about self all the time. If people learn to look more outwards and less inwards, the world will be a better place to live.
I don’t mean to sound profound tonight but it’s just good to do some soul searching every now and then. Sometimes we think the only time to do some self reflections is resolution time and we live our lives too carelessly the rest of the year. As we enter the end of the first quarter of 2011, it might be a good time to think through our ways in the first two months of the year.
