Thank you for dropping by homeofficewomen.com
This is a project that has been very close to my heart and I’m so glad that it’s finally online.
Just a little background about me…
I have been working from home since 2003 and this all started at the lowest point of my career. Graphic design made up a big part of my career since I graduated from design school in 1989… that was a long time.
Moving to Kuala Lumpur was a big step after I tied the knot with this guy with the coolest hairstyle. The lowest point of ‘our’ career was when we ventured into a restaurant business and things just didn’t get better for 2 long years.
2003 marked a significant breakthrough for me when Synergy Entire was established to focus on public seminars with top speakers in their specialised field. My business partner is also my life-time partner and a home office was formed.
Having a home office is truly a blessing and until today, we still count our blessings and won’t trade anything to have this fantastic option. I value my time and productivity, the freedom and liberation.
In 2004, I was promoted to be a Work-At-Home-Mom (WAHM) and Clayton became a ‘sleeping partner’ in our home business. Are there challenges and do I face issues with the balancing act? YES! I still do but this is become a growing and learning process for my entire being.
I intentionally name this ‘homeofficewomen’ as there are misconceptions that you need an online business to be categorised as a WAHM. I ran a seminar business and I work from home!
This site is dedicated to ALL women who work from home or PLAN to work from home. You will find features of home office women from all walks of life with different sorts of business sharing their experiences and stories.
It desires to inspire, encourage, empower, provide a healthy network and safe environment for ALL women to help and share with each other our life, experiences, successes, failures and anything close to your heart.
I invite you to become part of the H.O.W. community and if you have a story/business which you like me to feature, please feel free to contact me.
This is not a place for non-family friendly business or anyone who seeks to take advantage of our members.
Last but not least, I sincerely thank youfor being a part of our community and may God bless you as you take this bold step to be a work-at-home woman.
Blessings to you and yours,
