With the addition of the Leg Magic to our home gym, it is a great equipment to hop on whenever I need a break from work. Unlike DH, I haven’t been consistent in making this an everyday activity but it’s something I like to work towards. From the short Leg Magic video, I heard raving testimonies from those who are fighting weight loss, even hoodia users are reaping benefits of well toned legs and thighs. One of my goals this week is to get on the machine daily, this definitely requires lots of discipline and determination. I’ve got two more months to work on those legs before our December vacation!

On the health aspects, these following tips help you find the energy you need to get through your day:
1) Avoid fast food
Fast food can zap up our energy fast and the best way to avoid it is to prepare some simple meals from home. To speed things up, plan your meals, choose recipes with limited ingredients; use precut veggies, cook extra food and freeze the balance. Quick cooking methos such as broiling and steaming are beneficial to our health too.
2) Eat and exercise
My mom always reminds me about a hearty breakfast before I start my day. Eating breakfast early is one good way to accumulate energy you need for the day. An exercise in the morning give our metabolism a quick boost too – I’m working on that
3) Go for a walk
A daily stroll is helpful and it can be done easily by deep breathing, pumping your arms, focus on your surroundings, sensing the movement and experience all your senses all in one go.

Having a home based business can be equally stressed even though we don’t need to worry about beating the heavy traffic and dealing with social interaction with colleagues and other factors. An effective stress reliever in the midst of pressures from work, family and personal life is ‘writing’. Putting your feelings down on a piece of paper can help to cope with stress better. Often times, these stresses are emotional, mental and can be physical. The disclosure of how it feels inside your heart and mind can release those ‘burdens’ and add health benefits to your being. Another good way is to step out and take in some fresh air. Some people find that a minute on the trampoline or an exercise machine can do the job too.
What is your stress reliever while working at home?
