This weekend, I’ll be spending quality time with my 4 yo alone. Hubby has gone to see his parents for another town and I’ll be combing the mall with my shopping partner – my 4 yo! We tend to have more liberty when it’s just left to two of us. Since DH is not the shopping kind, we don’t usually end our shopping weekends with many bags if he’s around. With some sale going on, it’s a good opportunity to grab best buy for things I need and perhaps, I should also hunt for a simple Father’s day gift for DH. Whatever your plans are this weekend, I hope that you will take time to unwind and pamper yourself a little bit after a week of hard work in your home office.
Let’s realize that life is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. We’re responsible for our own actions and attitudes, and changing them when appropriate. When you’re around people/things that are uplifting and positive, you feel that way. You have more confidence in yourself, and know you can change whatever needs changing. If you can make your home or workplace such a place you’ll find yourself happier with more positive workers and higher production.
Why do we complain and blame God when things go wrong or when problems arise? When I was shown this video by my husband, my heart was welled up with gratefulness and thankfulness that I am indeed so blessed. If nothing can stand in the way of Nick Vujicic, nothing should be too hard for normal people like you and me. He has NO LIMBS and has made it to be a millionaire in his 20s. Today, he lives on his own, leading a NORMAL and travels around the world to inspire and touch lives.
