It’s been rather crazy over here as I finished my tenth box of packing. We are moving again in two months’ time but since I’m leaving for a long vacation soon, I would need to complete my packing before I take off.

Christmas bells are ringing and this year, I will be celebrating it with my close friends and family. I have no need of anything so I don’t think I would need to shop anything for myself. Maybe I should save up to get a kitchenaid dishwasher for our new place but that should be hubby’s job! I am thinking about a new sporty looking watch but I’m asking myself if I need a watch.

We are taking a long break from the home office and when we returned, we will be setting up a new one in the new place. It’s been an eventful and busy year and I’m gearing myself up for another exciting 2012.

It took me a few days before I accepted the news that we have to move in two months’ time. It wasn’t an easy decision as I was already settling in and in fact, I was all ready to take a break from my home office and head back to Asia for a long vacation.

Moving house is alot of work for me and I can imagine the amount of time on packing and unpacking. We had just booked ourselves to a Thailand getaway and a shopping trip to Hong Kong. So that would be something I can look forward to. I can’t wait for those private cooking and baking classes I had booked myself in. This is what I like to do when I’m on a break. Back to looking for a house, we need one with a home office or a study for the least. Working at home has worked very well for us both and DH enjoyed learning all the online marketing stuff in his own space. I, on the other hand, like working at home and shopping online The other day, I was even planning to buy an Electric Airsoft Guns for DH… I thought it would be a great gift idea!

This week will be house hunting and house inspections and I seriously can’t wait to find the ‘right’ house for us.

It has to be hard for many work at home moms to lay aside their heavy workload when the weekends is here. This is hard because the home office is just a few steps in and out the house and it’s tempting to stay away from it!

This has been a terribly busy week for me. I was busy in a good way. It wasn’t so much of work in the home office but I was acquiring some new cooking skills with a couple of wonderful ladies. These ladies used to hold jobs in the past but due to parenting, they have decided to become home ministers One of them used to be hold one of those Network Installer Jobs where stress levels can be intense when datelines is near. She finds it more fulfilling being a full time mom now.

I like the fact that I can work from home and still learn domestic stuff as I do enjoy baking and cooking more as the day goes by. The truth is, baking can be a work at home job too for some talented moms, though I don’t think I would be opting this path

How many of you work at home moms like to work on a Friday? I don’t! I like to bake a cake or try out a new recipe on a Friday. Sometimes I am compelled to do a big clean up to my little haven!

Whatever it is, I like to follow my heart and passion on a Friday and today, I just baked a cheesecake and after this post, I’ll be off to bake some cookies. Then, my new plants need repotting in the garden. This is what I like to do on a Friday and I wonder what do other work at home moms do when the weekends draw nigh. My hubby said that he would fix up the metal hose and help me in the garden later. I need more bricks and a fence for the cucumber plant. With spring knocking on our doors, it’s time to get some work done in the garden and there is so much I like to do this season.

So you can see that I’m in no mood to work from my home office as I would prefer to be in the kitchen baking some cookies for the gathering tonight. Enjoy your weekend and all work at home moms deserve that break!

I love weekends. It’s a time where I can put my feet up, do my relaxing things such as baking and take it easy. I like it when there is no datelines to meet and I can slow down in my home office business.

These few weeks have been very busy for us as my little boy keeps getting birthday invitations. It’s also Father’s day this sunday and I promise to cook a good meal for my other half! I have just received a few birth announcements and it looks like it’s time to shop for some gifts too! Tomorrow is also Brisbane festival and we will be heading to the city for some fireworks in the evening and we are looking forward to soak in the festive atmosphere!

So much for the weekend… I’m going to bake another cake and then head to the gym later. It’s such a beautiful spring day in Brisbane!
