As the year comes to an end, it’s a time of holiday making for most home office moms and dads. For us, we are busy packing up and getting ready for our move to a newer suburb.

We are listing down a list of things to do for our home office and one of the tasks that call for our attention is to replace some office furniture. Hubby and myself agree that we need new storage boxes as the ones we had were broken, cracked and unfit for our use. It’s been rather crazy over here as I finished my tenth box of packing. We are moving again in two months’ time but since I’m leaving for a long vacation soon, I would need to complete my packing before I take off.

Christmas bells are ringing and this year, I will be celebrating it with my close friends and family. I have no need of anything so I don’t think I would need to shop anything for myself. Maybe I should save up to get a kitchenaid dishwasher for our new place but that should be hubby’s job! I am thinking about a new sporty looking watch but I’m asking myself if I need a watch.

We are taking a long break from the home office and when we returned, we will be setting up a new one in the new place. It’s been an eventful and busy year and I’m gearing myself up for another exciting 2012.

The last weekend had been a busy one as I had to take my son to a birthday party before heading home for some yard clearing work. I don’t work at home on the weekends so it’s good to spend some quality time with little junior.

The next weeks will see more birthday parties coming up and I have an invitation to a friend’s daughter party and it’s going to be a pool party. I was checking the web for a 20th birthday gift and the options are endless! Since I haven’t had a daughter, it’s hard to choose the right one. I can’t really remember what I liked at 20! Looks like I need to consult parents with daughters or search the web for some ideas too.

Isn’t it great that the web has answers to lots of things. There is endless amount of resources available at our fingertips and I’m just so glad that we are living in such an exciting era!
