Time flies. My son is turning four and it amazes me how much he’s grown in the last year. Though he isn’t a big boy, he’s speaking very well and sometimes, it’s hard to believe that it’s a four year old talking!

Operating a home office isn’t an easy task when you are also a full time parent. I can speak that from experience and my DH can too. I have to confess that even after four years, we haven’t been able to keep our boy out of our home office. This is why playschool time is so important as that is the time when we get our work done!

I’m still waiting for my wedding website and travel website to be completed though I was disappointed to hear that there’ll be some delay. More people are building ecommerce websites so that they can run them from their home office. Working in a home office means that you don’t need to get all dressed up for work everyday and you can save the time on the road. You probably won’t need to replace your Asgi shoes so often cos you won’t be leaving the home office much other than menial daily tasks.

I’ve been back for a couple of days from Singapore and have been catching up on my home office workload that are piling in my head. Hopefully, I’ll launch two websites by this month and I can’t wait to mention them once they go LIVE!

But for now, I would like to share something with you. Since end 2006, I have been blogging in my home office and this blogging activitiy is somewhat complementing what I’m doing as a work at home mom. I believe many of you work at home moms own blogs and may be blogging for sometime now. Lately, my blogging buddy has been sharing with me many niche blogging lessons which have been enlightening and inspiring for me. You may know about blogging but my question to you is, “Do you know how to make money through niche blogging as a work at home or stay at home mom?” If you do, good on you and keep on the good work! If you don’t, then it’s time to find out how many stay at home and work at home moms are making money through their niche blogs. Every affiliate marketer knows that the road to internet marketing is not a smooth and easy one. It takes more than just knowing how to blog to start this affiliate marketing journey. Knowing how to start or create a blog is beneficial if you want to be an affiliate marketer. Blogs allow you to communicate, share, exchange information and network with other bloggers and internet marketers. You may start of by creating multiple niche blogs and focus on topics that you are passionate about. It can even begin as a personal blog via a free blogging platform such as blogspot or wordpress and when you are ready, you can then purchase your own domain and hosting.

You need to be ready for some small investments if you are serious about affiliate marketing. Sometimes, you won’t even make your first $10 so be prepared for some initial start up costs – if you are planning to go full time. Nothing is magical and affiliate marketing success is not overnight too. There are lots of online marketing resources and you should take time to find the good ones.
