Being a work at home mom requires one to be on top of things and staying organized. If you are struggling with keeping your schedule in check, draw out a to-do list everyday. On responding and checking your e-mailboxes, make it a habit to sort each message into an appropriate folder when checking your emails in your home office. This is one habit my work at home hubby has acquired and he’s been so consistent on this. Even if you don’t have time to deal with the contents of a message or even read it fully, sort it for later action.  Sort through and organize regular mail and correspondence as well, and organize into piles for later action if necessary.  You should try to make it a habit of responding promptly to all mails requesting a timely response as that will reflect on your professionalism.
