Everyone of us is blessed with a special talent or two. I have talked to many work at home moms and realized that some have lots of hidden talents waiting to be unleashed.

Among my group of work at home moms, there are some who can write very well. I often encourage them to write an ebook and market it online. Many opportunities await these women who have the talent to write and pen their ideas. Being able to offer your own informative, quality ebook will establish you as someone who knows what they are talking about. This will earn you trust and respect and go a long way towards building your online presence. It can be an ebook on bridal shower invitations or an email on parenting… it all depends on your passion and what you have got in mind.

There are many ways to market your ebook. Some of the best ways are listed below:

1) Joint Ventures: Team up with other ebook authors or ezine publishers or webmasters to cross promote each other’s products or services. Agree to send referrals to each other and recommend each other’s products.

2) Use an excerpt from your ebook as an article and submit it to as many directories as possible. Be sure to mention your ebook in your resource box.

3) Submit your ebook to as many ebook directories as you can. The more links to your ebook, the better.

4) Offer two or three free bonuses with your ebook. make and offer that is very hard or impossible to refuse.

5) Offer a free report as a lead-in to your ebook. People love free information and if you offer a quality report that gets them interested they very well may want to buy your ebook.

6) Start an affiliate program and offer people a percentage to sell your ebook. One of the best places to do this is Clickbank. For a small fee you can set up your affiliate program and increase your sales many times over.

People like ‘freebies’ so you may want to offer the first chapter or two as a freebie. Be sure and leave them wanting more.

As with any marketing campaign, you have to stick with it. What’s nice is that you can do work at home and do your writing at your own pace. You should be consistent and not submit to a couple of directories and post to a couple message boards and then sit back and wait to get rich. Marketing is a daily commitment.

The possibilities are endless as to ways to market your ebook. Be sure and combine many of the strategies for one successful marketing campaign. Be creative and come up with new innovative marketing ideas. Find out what works and get started marketing that new ebook!

It’s been another busy week as I settle my child back in school and getting myself organized at home. Things are moving along well for us and I’m thankful. I’m already working from home and I do like my new home office.

Last couple of weeks, I have been meeting new moms in the school and many of them are full time moms and some are working from home too. A few are looking at online university where they can study at their own pace while their kids are in school. Being a mom can be a big task with lots to juggle and sometimes we wonder when can we sit down for a cup of cuppa! Tomorrow, I’m taking a couple of hours off with a girl friend who suggested that I go to bible study with her. I thought a long time about it and decided that I want to know God’s word better in 2011. I have been too relaxed in my walk with Him and sometimes I become lazy too. So attending a bible keeps me on track and gives me the opportunity to commit to a devotional time everyday.

With lots of activities leading up to the month of March, I’m ever so busy getting more done in the home office while enjoying my new life here down under. That’s my life now as a work at home mom!

Every morning, when I opened my mailbox, I am greeted by lots of automated emails from internet marketers. Everyone is trying to sell me something and most of these internet marketers are working at home in their pjs.

We started working from home since 2003 and it wasn’t any online business at that time. It was only much later that we started to explore the online business that the home office was becoming busier. Since, we have been running few businesses from home and it has proven that home business does work. But I know that not everyone like working at home. Some prefer to be out there mingling, networking and interacting with others. They prefer to dress up early in the morning, catch breakfast with colleagues and lunch out with clients. The truth is, whether you are an internet marketer, a businesswomen or Mesothelioma lawyer, you can make your home a working office, if that’s your preference.

Knowing that we enjoy this working environment, we shall continue to build a home office space when we move down under. The nice thing about having a home office in Australia is that it is tax deductible! That means, all equipment including computers, printers, tables and chairs can be submitted for tax relief. I need to find more the mechanics of it soon.

This will be another busy week of clearing, packing and trashing out the clutter. We are leaving the home office to the last for clearance and I know it’s time for a good spring clean. When is the last time you do a spring cleaning for your home office?
