One of the first things work from home moms should do is to have a website for their products and services. By saying it, I’m assuming that your home business can be either an online or off line one. Not all moms working at home are involved in internet business. When creating a website, it is important to create one that is search engine friendly? You can find plenty of information when browsing the internet so there is no excuse in not knowing how. A search engine friendly site is helpful for top ranking in the search engines, but also it also helps to attract customers, which in turn generate more business for you.
Before designing a site, you need to decide on a good domain name. The Domain name is your URL or Universal Resource Locator as in what a person types into the search engine bar like yoursite.com and others. Hypothetically, if your business is related to something like business and promotional bags then it is good to have the word “promotional bags” included into the domain name and you can also separate by dashes from other words or numbers if the desired domain name is not available. Generic domain names may help in search engine listing. It will be easier to find the sequence of words within a domain name directly related to the main idea of your business.
